Chandigarh: The Haryana government has reduced VAT at the price of gasoline and diesel so that it can reduce oil prices on central government lines.
After this decision, gasoline prices have dropped from Rs 106.94 to Rs 95.27 throughout the country.
Also, diesel prices have dropped from Rs 98.60 to RS 86.51.
According to the official spokesman, the price of gasoline and diesel is still higher in other states compared to Haryana.
In Punjab, gasoline is Rs 105.02, in Delhi gasoline price is Rs 103.97.
Similarly, gasoline at Himachal Pradesh is Rs 96.06.
Apart from this, the price of gasoline in Rajasthan is Rs 111.10.
Diesel prices in Punjab are Rs 88.76 and in Delhi diesel fees are Rs 86.67.
While in Rajasthan, the price of diesel is Rs 95.71.
This is evident from the numbers of these countries that gasoline and diesel are cheaper in Haryana and States people benefit from this.
It should be noted that on the occasion of Diwali, the central government has announced a reduction in gasoline and diesel prices.
Furthermore, the Haryana government also announced to reduce VAT in gasoline and diesel in the state.
Now, the direct effects are proven in the state and gasoline and diesel prices are much lower in Haryana compared to other states.
