PALAKKAD: A police complaint has been filed from a private hospital in Pattambi at Palakkad district for supposedly displaying disrespect to a deceased person retained in the hospital.
Shelvaraj of all Manissery Lakshamveedu Colony of all Vaniyamkulam close Ottapalam at Palakkad has registered the complaint with all the Pattambi authorities against the hospital police alleging that the entire body of his mum, Sundari, 65, maintained at the hospital had been apprehended by rodents.
The girl passed out on Tuesday night along with her relatives asked the hospital police to help keep the entire body from the hospital for one evening.
After the family inspected the body when amassing it on Wednesday morningthey discovered a part of her nose has been nibbled off by rodents.
The bitten area was bandaged and the entire body has been handed over to family members.
The hospital police stated that the hospital does not have any mortuary facility.
However, the body was stored in the hospital for an evening to the petition of relatives that stated they couldn’t alter the entire body .
As it was discovered that the human body had any harm, bandage was set in the existence of the family members and there was not any evidence shown.
Health ministry Veena George has ordered an investigation into the episode by district medical officer (DMO) Doctor K Reetha.
“There has been a lapse on the part of the hospital,” that the DMO stated.
