Bengaluru: Selecting the absence of legal sanctions, the City Court on Thursday rejected personal complaints to investigate corruption allegations of the Minister of Chief B s Yediyurappa, Putra, relatives, and ministers, who were related to housing projects.
Activist TJ Abraham has filed a complaint against Yediyurappa, son and vice president of BJP by Vijayendra, his son-in-law Ravi.
He accused corruption in the Bangalore Development Authority Project and their “involvement” in it.
Applicants pray to the court to “take awareness of violations” can be punished under various parts of the prevention of corruption, 1988, KUHP, 1860 and other provisions that apply, or direct any agency to register the FIR and do questions.
The court observed that personal complaints could not be maintained in the absence of legitimate sanctions and, thus, refused.
Abraham said later he would challenge orders in a higher court.
