Ludhiana: The police took about two and a half years to submit a case of sexual attacks on a man who daughter-in-law made a complaint in this issue.
The woman was sexually harassed a few days after her marriage allegedly by father-in-law was drunk.
After an investigation of almost two years, the police on Friday registered a case against the woman’s father-in-law for harassment and his wife for a criminal conspiracy.
In his complaint to the police, a 28-year-old woman accused immediately after the wedding on April 7, 2019, his father-in-law’s father and his mother-in-law began to demand cash and cars from him and his parents as a dowry.
He alleged that on April 17, 2019, his father-in-law wiped in the room around 10pm and seduce him sexually.
The woman raised an alarm after her husband who was on the first floor of the house and mother-in-law came to her room.
The woman accused her mother-in-law also supporting the defendant.
The woman said her family tried to solve this problem, but it didn’t work.
After that in July 2019, he filed a complaint to Ludhiana police and investigations marked with women’s cells.
However, inquiry is incomplete even after months.
After that, he filed a complaint with the police commissioner on November 20, 2020.
He said another investigation was marked by CP and after more than a year, the police have now registered a case in this matter.

Under parts 354-B (violence or criminal to women with the intention to release the pause) from the IPC has been registered with father-in-law, and mother-in-law has been ordered based on part 120-B (criminal conspiracy) from the IPC.
The FIR was delayed because of the investigation when the woman also leveled allegations of dowry abuse, the official said.
