Amravati: Two days after the Minister of Agriculture Dadi Bhuse ordered the case against IFFCO Tokio General Insurance Company Limited to delay Plant Insurance Claim Payment, District Supervisory Agriculture Officer on Wednesday Submitting a Report to the Company with the Gadgenagar Police Station.
Bhuse has received complaints from farmers during his visit three days ago that the company’s credit-free number operating and company representatives were available.
After this, Bhuse visited the company’s office and found that it was not regulated according to the agreement with the government to operate a plant insurance scheme.
A total of 1,72,655 farmers in the district have used plant insurance, but riots apply when most of them do not receive responses from companies to compensate for losses of plants issued by them.
Collectors of Pawneet Kaur on Wednesday asked the company to appoint its representatives at the district and taluka level and resolve claims of the earliest farmers.
