Complete 100 days in Office Not Key Milestone: BOMMAI

Bengaluru: CM Basilvaraj Bommai who will finish 100 days in the office on Thursday said that he would not celebrate the opportunity.
“Finishing 100 days is not an important milestone, but what you do during that period is the most important.
It’s not a special one like one or two years in the office,” said Bommai told reporters on Wednesday before leaving for Hometown Hubballi to celebrate Deepavali.
However, CM said he would soon release a statement that gave details of the initiative of the development and welfare he did for the past 100 days and the challenges he faced in the office.
“For the past 100 days, we have tried hard to bring developed countries towards the development path,” added CM.
Bommai assumed the office as the main minister on July 28 this year after replacing BS Yediyurappa.
His government handles drive pandemic and Covid-19 vaccination effectively, attracting appreciation from various quarters.
The party’s sources said Bommai planned to interact with the media on Thursday to mark 100 days in the office, but decided to oppose it after the BJP which was increasingly received in Hangal Bypoll in Home-District Haveri.
As a former Janata party leader, the strongest criticism of the bommai, from the BJP, is that he does not have his roots in Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and he is the shadow of the former CM BS Yediyurappa.
But he has succeeded in offset this criticism even though it’s still far away to leave.
While Bommai seems to have managed to score some points of brownies in administration and government, Hangal defeat has come as a blue bolt.
