Chennai: Declining to interfere with the decision of the Tamil Nadu government to make a double vaccination of a must for school teachers, Madras High Court said it would be in just in the interest of students if the teacher was vaccinated before they came to the institution.
The first bench from the acting Chair of Munishwar Nath Bhandari and Justice PD Audikesavalu, rejected the public interest petition submitted by NGOs, said the petition seemed to oppose the public interest.

It moved the high court that challenged the decision of the Tamil Nadu government to make a double Covid-19 vaccination of a necessity to access public places, including educational institutions.
When the Petitioner tried to attract a request, the court rejected the pill as being withdrawn.
According to the Petitioner, on August 21, the State issued a press release that informed that schools and colleges would be permitted to function from September, but teachers, staff, and students who qualified must multiply to attend the physical class.
“The center is clearly mentioned in the Covid-19 policy that no citizens must be forced or forced to vaccinate and the same will be encouraged and promoted by puzzling the public,” the Petitioner said.
Meanwhile, the action of the state in insisting on double vaccination to provide access to physical classes directly contradicts the central policy, he said.
Citizens, who carry out their rights to live and freedom, choose to remain not vaccinated against Covid-19 based on smart choices to visit with poor consequences of losing their livelihoods and education, he added.
