Concern class soup for teachers, parents

Bhubaneswar: Parents and teachers worry about density, lack of classrooms and workloads with schools throughout the state will continue the offline class for VI students and VII on Monday.
Classes will be held starting at 9:30 a.m.
until 1:00 p.m.
According to standard operating procedures (SOP), only 25 students can attend each classroom.
In addition, teachers may have to work harder because they do online and offline classes.
“Of course, it will cause some practical problems, which can be difficult to manage.
We have acute teacher’s shortcomings and by allowing 25 students in each class, we also face the lack of classrooms.
We have decided to ask students to class VI And VII will come on alternative days.
For example, roll number 1 to 30 on Monday and 31 to 60 on Tuesday and so on, so the teacher is not burdened, “said Sukanti Devi, the head of the University of College.
The teacher also expressed concern over following the Covid guidelines in the classroom and on the school campus.
With younger children coming to school from Monday, it will be difficult to ensure strict compliance with Covid guidelines such as wearing masks all the time and maintaining social distance, said the teacher.
“While children wear masks when they enter school, it is very difficult to keep them all the time they live in the classroom.
While senior class students follow the rules, it is difficult to make sure the younger children do younger things do the same thing The main problem is the lack of teacher.
With so many parts, the teacher will be burdened, “said Prakash Chandra Mohanty, Secretary of the Odisha State Middle School Association (OSSTA).
According to SOP, timing classes for different classes are different, putting students and teachers in trouble.
“This leads to a lot of confusion for everyone when the period starts at a gap 30 to 60 minutes for different classes.
So we also face problems in ringing bells,” said a teacher at the government school asking for anonymity.
However, many private schools have made one time for all classes from VIII to XII so that teachers and students do not face difficulties.
