The central authorities on Tuesday had made a decision to cancel the CBSE Class 12 board examinations amid the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic throughout the nation together with Prime Minister Narendra Modi claiming that the choice was taken from the interest of pupils and the stress among pupils, teachers and parents have to be placed to a conclusion.
Several states also have cancelled board examinations following the center’s decision.
Kumar, through the meeting of Education Ministers of all countries organised from the central government’s Ministry of Education a month, had stated it had been necessary to maintain examinations for second PU pupils somehow because they prepare for specialist classes.
The state government had previously postponed the next PUC examinations that were scheduled to start May 24, citing a spike in Covid instances as the cause.
