BENGALURU: A determination on additional relaxing lockdown constraints in the nation after June 21 when the present curbs come to a conclusion, will likely be taken on Saturday, Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa said.

According to official sources, the authorities might declare relaxations from 11 districts in which lockdown measures have lasted, whereas further relaxations concerning movement of individuals and launching of companies could be announced at the rest 19 districts from June 21.
The authorities had issued new guidelines expanding the Covid triggered lockdown at 11 districts, that have a higher positivity rate, until June 21, in which taxpayers were permitted to purchase principles between 6am and 10am.
Some relaxations were declared from the rest 19 districts from June 14, enabling essential stores to be available from 6am to 2pm, and motion of individuals till 7pm.
It’d also enforced Covid curfew (daily) from 7pm to 5am and weekend curfew from 7pm on Friday to5’m on Monday.
Even the 11 districts where rigorous lockdown steps have lasted are Chikmagalur, Shivamogga, Davangere, Mysuru, Chamarajanagar, Hassan, Dakshina Kannada, Bengaluru Rural, Mandya, Belagavi and Kodagu.
The Karnataka government had originally declared 14 times’close-down’ in April 27, however afterwards imposed a comprehensive lockdown from May 10 to May 24as the Covid cases continued to spike.
