Conclusion on Impending Entry Examinations JEE, NEET Shortly: Ministry of Education

NEW DELHI: The Ministry of Education is expected to shortly decide about running both remaining variations of this engineering entrance exam JEE-Mains along with the medical entry test NEET at August, according to officers.
“The problem has been reviewed to choose the program of the impending versions of JEE-Mains and if NEET-UG could be run on August 1,” a senior officer said.

The first stage in February was followed closely with the next stage in March, although the upcoming stages were scheduled for April and May.
However, these were postponed following an exponential increase in the amount of COVID-19 cases throughout the next tide of the pandemic in the nation.
The JEE-Advanced exam, that will be conducted for entrance into the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology and the National Institutes of Technology, was also postponed.
The examination was scheduled on July 3.
While no additional decision was shot NEET-UG, the enrollment for the examination, that was presumed to commence May 1, had been kept in abeyance.
The ministry is also to decide on the destiny of this Central University Common Entrance Test (CUCET).
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Thursday declared the marks tabulation coverage for its Class 12 examinations, which have been conducted on June 1 at light of this Covid situation.
The program for the following entry examinations is anticipated to be determined shortly.
As stated by the policy determined with a 13-member panel setup from the board, the concept paper analysis formulation is that a 30-per cent weightage will be provided to the marks obtained from Class 10, yet another 30-per cent weightage to the Course 11 marks plus a 40-per cent weightage to the Class 12 marks acquired from the unit evaluation, mid-term and pre-board examinations.
The CBSE plot further declared for Class 10, the 30 percent marks depending on the normal concept part of the very best three performing topics from the major five topics would be taken.
