ABU DHABI: Former South African captain Faf du Plessis, who’d suffered a concussion during a Pakistan Super League game, was Wednesday ruled from the rest of the games of this T20 tournament.
Du Plessis endured the concussion after a horrible crash with his Quetta Gladiators teammate Mohammad Hasnain while attempting to conserve a border throughout their PSL game against Peshawar Zalmi on Sunday.
“Faf du Plessis, who had a concussion at Quetta Gladiators’ game against Peshawar Zalmi on Sunday, was ruled from the group’s remaining matches,” ESPNcricinfo reported.

Du Plessis was enjoying his second match of their PSL on its resumption.
He’d scored 5 against Islamabad United since the Gladiators missing the game by 10 wickets.
Prior to the resumption of PSL, du Plessis was playing with at the IPL 2021, in which he scored 320 runs out of seven games, including four successive half-centuries, his kind assisting Chennai Super Kings into a solid place in the table.
The winning league was subsequently suspended because of this COVID-19 pandemic.
