Varanasi: Congress accused the Government of Narendra Modi to hurt the interests of the armed forces.
Congress National Spokesman Supriya Shrinet and Boxer Vijender Singh, on Friday, released a booklet to support the allegation.
Depending on reporters, they accused the central government limiting many armed forces provided by the government.
They said that BJP used the sacrifice of the armed forces for his political benefit.
They alleged that the Modi government imposed GST on goods purchased from the CSD canteen, and also imposed taxes on retirement of the disability of men soldiers.
Military officials from the short service commission were deprived of military hospital facilities.
The government also created obstacles in the rehabilitation of former soldiers men.
They further accused that more than 1.22 lakh posts were empty in the armed forces.
