Cong approaches NHRC, Hry GUV

Chandigarh: Looking in a deep investigation in a situation leading to LathiCharge in Bastara Toll Plaza on Saturday, the opposition congress on Tuesday approached the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) in New Delhi, and Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya in Chandigarh.
Delegation, led by Secretary General AICC and Haryana who is responsible for Vivek Bansal, met the full bench NHRC, while opposition leader in Haryana Assembly Bhupinder Hood led the MLAS party in calling for the governor, too.
They also urged the governor to restore fair compensation and transparency in land acquisition, rehabilitation and resettlement (AMANDEMENT HARYANA) Bill, 2021, for the return of the state legislature, instead of signing it.
“This land acquisition bill is anti-farmer, anti-poor and undemocratic.
It graduated in a hurry without detailed discussion at home,” the alleged Hooda.
Hoba claimed the new bill was contrary to the intention and enthusiasm of the main action of the central 2013 and would hurt the interests and sentiments of farmers who had aged on three agricultural marketing laws during the past nine months.
He accused the provisions that protect the interests of farmers have been taken.
“All the provisions of the Old Land Procurement Law, such as farmer approval, part-4 and part-6 notification procedures, and gave housing plots with compensation as a substitute for land,” Hooda accused.
In Delhi, Bansal accompanied by President Congress Haryana Selja, MP Deepender Singh Hooda, former leader of Haryana CLP Kiran Choudhry, former Minister of Captain Ajay Singh Yadav, Virendra Rathore’s national secretary and Ashish two and Secretary General Haryana Ajay Chaudhary.
Bansal said Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave the ‘Atamanirbhar’ slogan, but the government is a farmer who can make countries that really make independent countries.
