Bengaluru: Chairman of the Minister of Basavaraj Bommai on Friday said the congress and its allies did not have the moral right to question the BJP government in the center / state on the increase in fuel prices when the countries ruled by the Congress refused to reduce the level of gasoline and diesel.
Reacting to the claims of the Congress leaders that the price cut after the defeat at Bypoll Hangal, he said: “If the government will reduce prices before bint, they will accuse us of doing so to get a voice,” he added.
He said the Congress must appreciate the steps taken by the state and the center to reduce taxes at that time, which was not carried out by their (Congress) ministers in the past.
