Cong holds a signature drive against fuel, the price increase of LPG

Ranchi: The State Congress on Monday conducted a signature campaign outside the gas station throughout the Jharkhand to protest the increase in fuel prices and LPG.
The State Party President of Rameshwar Oraon, who led the campaign in Bariautan along with Agriculture Minister Badal Patretekh, said that “the increase in fuel prices and LPG had released the chaos on the lives of ordinary people, who had struggled with liquidity issues and lost their jobs.
The central government is busy raising prices every day.
Whether the government does not care about ordinary or incompetent human misery to maintain controlled inflation.
We will continue to stir until the price is reduced.
“The party claims that in the past year, the price of fuel is hiking at least 67 time.
At present, the gasoline fee of Rs 96.68 in Ranchi and Diesel is priced at Rs 94.84, both approaching almost RS 2 since last week.
While the old party of the Grand, which is a coalition partner of the Government of Mahagathbandhan, has ruled out the possibility of immediately reducing state VAT on fuel (ie around RS 22) considering the ‘lack of funds’, it presses the center to reduce the price by attacking the central tax quantum imposed on the material Burn and LPG.
When asked why the state government was not ready to reduce VAT on fuel, Oraon, who is also the Minister of Finance, said the distinctly cut the price.
“I have repeatedly said that after the introduction of tax and service taxes (GST), all direct taxes are credited to central cash, which are then distributed back to America.
Moreover, we do not get our legitimate GST contributions from the middle properly.
How can we function In such a scenario? Countries hardly have other ways to gather their resources to run the government.
Therefore, the center must cut prices by reducing taxes on gasoline.
“Patralekh, on the other hand, demands the Union Government to announce subsidies for farmers , “In addition to ordinary people, farmers are beaten today because of the increase in diesel and gasoline prices, which lead to the increase in agricultural costs and marketing their products,” he said.
