Thane: The Thane Congress has signaled large fraud in a rental housing scheme that is being executed in Lake City and the alleged involvement of Netas strong from Konkan.
Parties have called for the CBI investigation into it.
The Thane and TMC Party President Corporator Vikrant Chavan has accused that a large racket can operate in a rental housing scheme where the flat can be included for sale in the black market in the relationship of several political leaders and local administrative officials who can be sold illegally flats with forging documents.
“This scheme is fine by the state government a few years ago where private builders will be given additional FSI to build this structure and submit it to local authorities.
The developers must first build a rented flat and then the flat can be sold but the parties accused That in some cases, the developer failed to build a rental plot even after tiring the components sold, “he said.
Also, some flats in this rental scheme are spread throughout the city for sale in the black market by attaching documents.
“The documents and flat keys are stored at the headquarters but it is possible that some of them are stolen because of the possibility of citizenship officials too.
We have demanded a comprehensive CID or CBI probe in this problem,” Chavan said.
Civil officials remain not available to comment.
