Ludhiana: BJP leaders have raised question marks on the distribution of grants under the Nirman Punjab scheme, allegating that the MLAS Congress gave a check to their workers instead of the poor, for whom the grant was allocated.
BJP senior spokesman Anil Sarin and President of the Pushpinder Singhal district, while overcoming a press conference here on Tuesday, said the names of congressional workers from the North Constitution were included in the list of beneficiaries.
The BJP leaders accused they only examined the northern constituency, but this must have happened throughout the state.
They said they would increase this problem with the Election Commission and also demanded legal action against the MLAS Congress, board members, workers and MC officials involved in fraud.
While quoting a few examples, Sarin said, “Under the scheme, RS 15 Crore is allocated for each MLA for the distribution to the scheduled caste, the classroom and disadvantaged classes to repair.
The amount that can be given to individual recipients is between Rs 10,000 and Rs 35,000.
Fluting all rules, lists are prepared by Congress leaders on May 18, 2021, with relatives, Congress workers, and favorites as beneficiaries.
This list is cleaned by Ludhiana Municipal Corporation and checks issued.
“Sarin said he was checking the northern segment, He found Rs 5 Crore given to 2,200 people, and in some cases the same household, all family members live at home.
BJP demanded that a case be registered with Congress leaders, workers and city corporate officers who cleared the check.
This list is known with legislators with legislators, said Sarin, adding that the country’s exfequer money has been misused and strict actions must be taken to guilty.
However, the MLA Congress of the North Constituency Rakesh Pandey denied, “this list,” was prepared by workers in the field and then MC officials verified them.
MLA has nothing to do in this process.
And if there is a difference, BJP must share the list and I will get it verified again.
