Ranchi: The two-term congress of MLA from Jamtara, Irfan Ansari, on Friday praised the Taliban to take over Afghanistan and call it the end of the US “exploitation”.
He, however, quickly added that the Taliban was a terrorist.
The Grand Old Party has distanced himself from Ansari’s statement, called it his personal comment and urged all the party men to follow the guidelines on international affairs.
BJP drank the statement and called it a reflection of the “Talibani Mentality” Congress.
Known for making a controversial statement, Ansari told reporters after leaving the first day of the Monsun Assembly session that the Afghans and Taliban were happy for developments in their country.
When asked to explain the reason for his appreciation for the Taliban, Ansari claimed, “They are terrorists but they have helped Afghanistan free from the US military.” The Mla congress further said, “I stand with oppressed people and the reality is that people in Afghanistan were tortured by the US military for many years.

“Asked whether he agreed to the current governance model in Afghanistan, Ansari said he was” too little “to comment on it.

BJP, however, caught the congress for Ansari’s statement.
The head of the party whip, Biranchi Narayan, said, “This reflects the Mentality of Talibani Congress because this is the only party that only respects the Taliban, which is identified as a terrorist globally.
