Ranchi: Fearing Backlash Politics In His Constituency, the President of Working Keratu Mandar Mla and the Bandhu Tirkey Party Congress on Thursday wrote to Deputy Commissioner Ranchi Chhavi Ranjan, urged him to shift the school project site proposed for several places to prevent the situation of law and order in the area .
Titles such as Eklavya Adarsha Vidyalaya, the district government has allocated around 52 hectares of land for the United States government-funded project in Silga Village, which is considered a place to born in Freedom Fighter Vedat Budhu Bhagat.
While some tribal parts were held in school when announced, stating that it would deliver the right education for the local residents, the others strongly protested, claiming that the school would be a threat to the original place of Freedom Fighter.
Also, the protesters claim that the portion of the place where the school has been proposed will be allegedly damaging their religious location located in the area.
While Bandhu initially put aside such fears, claiming that the protest was politically motivated, but considering the recent events in the past few months due to several rounds of protests, he said that he was forced to write to the government request changes to the site.
Earlier this week, when the District Administration planned the Sabha gram in the area to formally get a school project in the midst of heavy security, clashes broke out between protesters and administrative officials.
Last month, in similar agitation, protesters destroyed the upcoming school boundary wall.
Bandhu said, “School will benefit tribal students here but go with a kind of fake propaganda that is blazing by certain parts of people because of some political agendas, it is better to shift the site to another place to prevent legal and order situations.
I don’t Want all kinds of tensions or problems for innocent tribes in my constituency area.
Therefore, I have urged the administration to reconsider the site for this school.
