Times News Network Varanasi: Ahead of the opening of the Kashi Vishwanath Dham corridor project by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on December 13, Varanasi Development Authority (VDA) has invited other lines from the Congress Camp after the objection to the wall coloring a mosque in pink.
The Congress Office was also painted in a pink under the ongoing job to provide uniform colors for all buildings along the road to Kashi Vishwanath Dham (corridor) from Godowlia to the intersection of Maidagin.
Giving 36 hours to eliminate paint to the authorities, Congress leaders, including former MLA Ajay Rai, warned that agitation would be launched if their request was not fulfilled.
In a press statement issued on Friday, Rai called building coloring as a marketing event and said that the painting of the Congress office without permission was not constitutional and intelligence.
“This government will be angry with the strength and coloring of buildings in pink.
We have given 36 hours to eliminate colors, if not, we will launch massive agitation,” Rai said, adding that the government was involved in marketing on behalf of community sentiments .
He alleged that the government tried to cover up his failure by the wrong marketing and marketing events.
City President Raghvendra Chaubey said that Congress members would be taken to the road if the government failed to correct errors.
Vda officials cannot be contacted even though they are repeatedly.
Previously, a mosque in Monthala, which was also painted in pink, was reduced after the objection raised by the Mosque authorities.
