New Delhi: As part of improving his organization in countries, Congress on Saturday appointed Bhupen Bora as Head of Assam unit, replacing members of Rajya Saba Bora.
In a statement, the Secretary of the KC Venugopal organization said the Congress of Sonia Gandhi had appointed Bhupen Bora as President of the Assam Pradesh Congress Committee, along with three work – Rana Goswami, Kamalakhya Dey Purkayastha and Jakir Hussain Sikdar.
Bhupen and shutter were released from their current responsibility as AICC Secretary, he said.
In another appointment, Loken Singh was appointed as an interim president of Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee with a direct effect until the full time head was named.
