New Delhi: In the midst of a sustainable problem in the Punjab unit, Congress was worried that the hope that the face closer to the election might remain a dream of a pipe if the Chairman of Minister Amarinder Singh did not take steps in the disadvantaged individual legislators.
More terrible is a prognosis in the party that if things cannot be stretched in time, even the problem of leadership that is resolved can be a question that, if triggered closer to the poll, can sow confusion in the rank and file.
At the heart of the problem it seems to be an insecurity applicable among several legislators who are due to their political alignment against Amarinder Singh, they can be punished in elections.
Fear between select ribbons, a large number of who recently held a meeting against CM Singh, is that they may not be contemplated based on a survey conducted by known poll consultants, or they can face sabotage from within.
Some are also worried about Vendetta Administration against them.
Congress believes that CM must personally take the initiative to calm the nerves of the worried members so they submit their “rebellion”.
Singh camp although it has shown that central leadership intervention does not help.
There is a view at the party that MLA can continue to talk to CM which will be a mask for their “unsafe personal taste”.
“Onus resolved this local difference lies in Amarinder Singh.
He must act, and it is his own interests and also the party,” said AICC leader.
Party sources say to repair the fence, AICC CENERAL Secretary Harish Rawat has been asked to visit Punjab early next week.
He is likely to meet Cm Singh and the Head of PCC Navjot Singh Sidhu, to further narrow the gap between them and among the legislators.
There was an extension in the top part of the party which despite the best effort to calm the faction, first of all by pointing Sidhu as Head of PCC and then by declaring Amarinder Singh as a party face for polls, things have not been resolved as expected.
The controversy was also said to hold the announcement of the poll related committee, as well as the cabinet rejig.
