New Delhi: Congress on Sunday released a list of second candidates for the election of the Goa Assembly.
In this list, seven candidates are named for February single phase polls for the assembly of 40-member countries.
The names of candidates were completed after the Congress Central Election Committee meeting, and chaired by the party President Sonia Gandhi, according to a statement.
The candidates in this list are Jitendra Gaonkar, Rodolf Louis Fernandes, Rajesh Faldesai, Manha Shenvi Usgaonkar, Viriato Fernandes, Olencio Simoes and Avertano Furtado.
Congress has stated the names of eight candidates for elections.
The results will be stated on March 10 along with four other polls – Punjab, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and Manipur.
