Chandigarh: Sad Opposition on Sundays took friction at the Congress on the dispute in his punjab unit and said the party tried to replace the main minister “failed” with the Navjot Singh Sidhu who was more known for “theater”.
AAM AAM AADMI PARTY (AAP) also took potshots in Congress and said that the ongoing dispute in the ruling party was only for a chair.
The Chairman of Minister Amarinder Singh and Navjot Singh Sidhu have associated with various problems.
Sidhu was appointed as President of the Punjab Congress Sunday night.
Shiroman Akali Dal (SAD) President Sukhbir Singh Badal said everyone knew Sidhu’s record as the local minister of body as long as he did “no” to raise the condition of the city or any city in the state.
Now the Congress is trying to indulge in enjoying another “drama” by replacing his “Failure” minister with the former Minister of Sidhu who is known to be more known for “plays” rather than administrative roles, Badal said in a statement here.
The Congress government is not only pursuing the policy of “splitting and governing” but led by the chairman of the “worst” minister in the history of Punjab, he accused.
The head of the Punjab Unit AAP Bhagwant Mann said the dispute in Congress for a post itself had a great “harm” for Punjab, Punjabis and ‘Punjabiyat’.
Now the Congress must “pay the price of interest” in the upcoming Assembly election, said Mann in a statement here.
Sangrur MP said the only agenda for all Congress leaders was to occupy seats.
“Someone struggled to save a chair and the others tried to grab the chair,” he said.
Mann said the Punjab people had decided to “teach the lesson” to Congress in the 2022 assembly poll.
