Jhansi: On the last day of direct connectivity 75 hours with a rural belt, Congress workers went to the door in rural areas in the district with a party’s vision message and to record the problems faced by farmers.
Led by the President of the State of Congress Kisan Shiv Narayan Parishar, a team of party workers has been camping in the village of Chirola Longjarg under the Tehroli block from the district for the last 75 hours and strives to be part of the daily activities of farmers.
On the last day they live, party workers issued ‘Prabhat Pheri’ followed by a door-door meeting with residents.
Party workers also held an oath ceremony where villagers were given oath to comply with the state constitution.
Previously the team had held a number of ‘Chaupal’ meetings in the surrounding villages that discussed their problems and told them about the party’s vision for farmers.
Talking to Toi, Parishar said, “We have arranged this program to mark state independence for 75 years.
This is an interactive campaign in all states at the grassroots level initiated by the National Secretary General of Priyanka Gandhi.
Our goal is to live with the population Village for 75 hours (three days) and try to understand their problems at the grassroots level and find a solution “.
