Shivamogga / MySuru: National Presidential Congress B V Srinivas on Thursday criticized the National Secretary General BJP C T Ravi for talking about former PMS Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi.
Speaking to reporters after inaugurating Rajiv Marathon to mark the birthday of 77 former PM, he Srinivas remembered the contribution of Congress leaders to Indian growth.
According to him, Ravi made such a statement to calm Prime Miister Modi, Minister of Home Amit Shah and RSS Top Brass.
“Ravi aspires to become a minister again.
He believes that if he spoke against the family of Nehru-Gandhi, he would be rewarded with the post of ministers.
He should not talk about Nehru-Gandhi’s family without reading history,” he said.
In Mysuru, KPCC spokesman M Lakshmana criticized Mysore MP Pratap Sime for claiming that the National Highway Bangalore-Mysuru 10 lanes was approved during the BJP administration.
He told reporters, the Minister of Public Works H H C Mahadevappa had sent a proposal to increase the highway, including two road services, in 2014 when Siddaramaiiah was the main minister.
“There is a record to prove that the Union Minister Oscar Fernandez has initiated the project,” he said.
