Patna: Congress Committee Bihar Pradesh (BPCC) has planned to warmly welcome the former President of the University of Nehru University (Jnutu) Jawaharlal Kanhaiya Kumar on October 22 when he will arrive at Patna for the first time after joining the old party in Delhi almost three weeks then.
Kanhaiya, who came out of the CPI, joined the Congress in front of the party leader Rahul Gandhi at his national headquarters in New Delhi on September 28.
“We have planned a ‘large program’ to receive a warm welcome to Kanhaiya, according to his politics.
Attention, when he will arrive at the BPCC Headquarters Sadaqat Ashram on October 22.
This will be his first visit to Sadaqat Ashram after joining the Congress,” said the President BPCC and former Madan Minister Mohan Jha told Ti by telephone on Sunday.
Jha said some Kanhaiya supporters would join Congress on that occasion.
He said many leading leaders of the Bihar Congress will be present at Sadaqat Ashram on October 22 to ensure warm reception to Kanhaiya and his team.
Gujesh Gujesh Congress Worker President & the leader of the famous Patidar Patidar Movement Patel and Gujarat Legislator Jignesh Mahan who has announced to join Congress, will also arrive at Sadaqat Ashram on October 22 to participate in a large reception of Kanhaiya, the sources proposed at the State Congress say.
“Hardik and Jignesh will arrive from Gujarat and join Kanhaiya in New Delhi.
From Delhi, the Trio leaders will fly together to Patna Airport on October 22.
They will reach Sadaqat Ashram together,” Dhananjay Kumar, a colleague near the former president Jnuu to Ti from Delhi on Sunday.
Kanhaiya, Hardik and Jignesh will also answer meeting party workers in Sadaqat Ashram on the same day, Dhananjay said.
Sources in Congress said, after October 22 Kanhaiya program will remain in Bihar to campaign in support of Congress candidates for the Assembly of Kusheshwar Astan and Tarapur.
Hardik and Jignesh will also campaign for Congress candidates at Bihar by-polls.
Two seat assembly Bihar – Kusheshwar Asthan and Tarapur, who fell after the infinite JD (U) death, respectively, Shashibhushan Hajari and checked Choudhary, would go to the general election on October 30.
Congress has deployed Atirek Kumar and Rajesh.
