New Delhii: Congress on Saturday condemned the “lathicharge” incident to farmers, who protested the meeting on the upcoming city poll chaired by Minister Haryana Manohar Lal Khattar.
The incident occurred in Karnal, according to the report.
Hitting in BJP, Secretary General of Congress Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said, actions like the powerful party would end as “nails in the coffin”.
The Facebook post on Saturday also reads, “farmers worked hard in the fields and BJP spilled blood when they [farmers] talked about their rights.” Priyanka on Saturday also accused three agricultural laws framed to benefit BJP billionaire friends.
“Why do farmers oppose three ‘black’ agriculture laws? Because if the right to decide on prices and other things for plants planted by the hard work of farmers is given to BJP billionaire friends, then this will happen,” Congress leader.
Word in Tweet in Hindi.
Randeep Chief of Congress Spokesman Singh Surjewala also slams BJP for Saturday in Karnal.
He took to Twiiter and wrote in Hindi, “Today’s incident has hurt everyone in Haryana …” criticized BJP for “bloodshed”, Surjewala said the incident would not be easily forgotten.
Farmers have nervous at the Delhi border demanding the revocation of three agricultural laws introduced by the center, since November last year.
They have repeatedly declared fear of the Lost Law with the minimum support price (MSP), leaving them at the mercy of large companies.
