New Delhi: Opposition continues to attack the Modi government on Rafale’s agreement, with Congress and CPM joining the JPC probe into the purchase of combat jets that claim that French court investigations initiated into the “reconfirm” corruption in the purchase.
On Sunday, Congressman Rahul Gandhi conducted a survey on Twitter asking people to decide why the MOD government opposed the JPC probe on the Rafale agreement.
Among the several choices offered are “conscience”, “save friends”, “JPC does not want Sabha’s Rajya chair”, and, “all the above”.
More than 63% of respondents to the survey chose ‘all the above.
“Congress officials also joined the Chorus who demanded JPC’s investigation, called it the only way to find the truth.
Former Minister of Union P Chidambaram said events and facts related to the agreement fell “Out of the closet one by one”.
