Baharampur: West Bengal Congress President Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury said on Monday that he did not support the relationship with the Indian Secular Front (ISF), noting that the Abbas Siddiqui-LED party gave a candidate to Congress in the election of the Assembly.
Speaking to reporters, Chowdhury said that he had not received direction from the leadership of the Congress center regarding maintaining relationships with ISF.
“In the election of assembly, the candidate led Congress in Congress in Murshidabad Regency.
Congress did not understand the election with ISF.
It is CPM who hold hands with the Siddiqui party,” he said.
Maintaining that he did not have a personal problem with the ISF leader, Chowdhury said that he was dictated by the political principles followed by Congress.
