New Delhi: Claiming that the leadership of the Congress treated “pathological hatred” for Hinduism, BJP on Friday said that on the orders of Rahul Gandhi that leaders such as Salman Khurshid, Shashi Tharoor and P Chidambaram had targeted religion.
Hitting on the former president of Congress for his criticism of Hindutva, BJP spokesman Sambit Patra accused Gandhi has a history of making critical comments about Hinduism and culture.
It was in the character of Congress and the Gandhi family to attack Hinduity on every occasion, he said.
Patra’s attack on Gandhi came after the Congress leader tried to withdraw the difference between Hinduism and Hindutva, the terms that were widely used by RSS, and accused that RSS-BJP ideology about the spread of hatred.
Citing terms such as Hindu Pakistan, Hindu Taliban and Saffron Terror used by the leaders of the Tharoor and Chidambaram congress, BJP leader said they made this comment on Gandhi’s orders.
He also referred to Digvijay Singh and Mani Shankar Aiyar in this context.
“What they say is not a coincidence but experiments.
And the principal in this experimental lab is Rahul Gandhi …
there is pathological hatred for Hinduism among Congress leaders, and they get traction for this from the Gandhi family,” he thought.
Patra also refers to Rahul Gandhi’s comments, who have found mentioning in Wikileaks in 2010, that Hindu extremist groups can pose a greater danger for India than Islamic terror organizations and several other comments to attack him.
Gandhi has linked atrocities against women to Indian culture, which he claimed.
The BJP attack on Gandhi came a day after the ruling party slammed the opposition party on his leader Salman Khurshid compared Hindutva with the Islamic jihadists from terrorist groups such as ISIS and Boko Haram in his book.
It is clear that Khurshid also supports what Rahul Gandhi said, said Patra.
People in India will never forgive the congress, he said.
Gandhi on Friday said his party ideology such as “beautiful gem” with endless strength in it, but has been overshadowed by BJP, and maintains Hinduism and Hindutva is a different concept.
Gandhi discusses online ‘AICC’ orientation program for four days held in Sevagram Ashram in Wardha in Maharashtra.
Representatives of Congress from all states participate in this program.
Patra said looking for apologies from him would be irrelevant.
Congress leader, he accused, has violated the constitutional principle with his statement that spread “hatred” in society.
Congress, he said, also tried to postpone hearing court in the case of RAM Temple and had, when in power, questioned the existence of the god of RAM.
For questions about Congress, which attracts the difference between Hinduism and Hindutva, Patra shoots back, “Can they talk about similar lines about other religions? Of course not.
They cannot talk about similar problems in other religions.
The question is why they talk badly on Hinduism all the time.
