Margao: Congress on Friday held a General Meeting of Lohia Maidan to the Collectorate Building, Margao protested the increase in fuel prices and other important commodities as part of his national campaign against the government.
Opposition leader drawn for Kamat, GPCC President Girish Chodankar, Navelim Mla Luzinho Faleiro, EX-Nuvem Mla Alex Sequeira other than the others participated in the rally after paying tribute to Marty Maidan in Lohia Maidan.
“Today’s protest cycle rally is the beginning of the new Revolution against the BJP government,” Kamat said while overcoming party workers.
“The MODI Government is the most irresponsible.
This has encouraged every citizen to trap the debt by creating financial emergency.
Congress will fight price increases.” Chodankar in his speech demanded the government by “literally looting people by extorting money in price of tax fuel.” Demanding Roll directly from the price of fuel and gas, Faleiro said that “the BJP government is not worried about the difficulties faced by people in Covid pandemic testing time.”
