Chennai: Strains have crawled during talks to share seats between DMK and partners, especially Senior Ally Congress, for local countryside polls in nine districts.
Local Congress leaders said they had received a raw agreement in seven new districts that were just carved into polls.
In the southern district of Tighty, Congress has been given a 15% seat because the party has several fortresses in the region, but in the north, they regret that the DMK has separated with only 3% to 5%.
The conversation was still on Wednesday night for Tirunelveli and Kalakurichi, even after the deadline ended to file a nomination.
Congress candidates have submitted nominations and leaders have uphill tasks persuading them to retreat because if not, they tend to contest as independent candidates / rebels.
This trend is very clear in Kancheepuram, Chengalpet, Villupuram, Kalakurichi, Ranipet, Tirupattatto and Vellore.
“In Villupuram, DMK categorically refused to part with the chair of 28 Ward council members.
Even Villupuram North DCC President, who wants to compete, cannot get a seat,” said a Congress leader.
DMK’s hard attitude came against the background of PMK walking out of the Aiadmk Alliance, and the DMDK fought itself.
Like on Wednesday night, the Congress will compete in 9 of 140 posts members of the Environmental Council in Pancahayats District, and 63 of 1,381 posts members of the Environment in Panchayat United.
“We are treated badly.
If we get a raw agreement, then imagine the fate of other allies like the left party,” said Congress MLA.
The leaders said that they were struggling even in areas that were considered fortress like Tirunelveli, where the conversation was still on.
The only consolation for the National Party is that he can be satisfied with 22 of 144 posts members of the environment in Pancasi Tenkasi United.
The party wants a fairly large number in Vellore, Ranipet and Tirupattur, a large minority population place.
“But the DMK leaders refused to give seats in Pancrayat Union Anaikattu, Vellore and Katpadi.
Our two chairman of Vellore Panchayat Union and a popular leader, CK Devendran, was not given a seat when they said he would oversee the postal chairman again,” said a person Vellore district officials.
Devendran has submitted its own nomination paper.
Congress does not have seats in three out of seven Panchayat Unions, Nemelli, Thimiri and Arcot in the Ranipet district.
Publishing Form A and Form B From the leadership of the TNCC about prospective sponsors will end tension for many contestants.
The nomination with Saturday.
