Congress protests against price increases

Guwahati: The Assam Congress on Thursday protests across the state of the increase in fuel prices and other important commodities.
Public appeal pamphlet by President Assam PCC Bhupen Kumar Borah and the leader of Assam CLP Debabrata Saikia, included five ‘failures’ BJP government, distributed.
“We all know that BJP has power in the middle and in the country promises ‘Achhe Din’ (a better day) and ‘change’.
But the promise to approach good days still remains a distant dream as an increase in essential commodity prices such as gasoline , Diesel, gas cooking and vegetables continue to hit people from all parts, “he said.
Congress, in a statement said after BJP in power, cooking gas cylinder prices has increased from Rs 400 to almost Rs 1,000, the price of mustard oil from Rs 70 to 200 per liter, gasoline prices from Rs 60 to Rs 100 per liter and Moong Dal per liter KG from RS 55 to RS 100.
“With a soft heart for the trading community, the BJP-led government has truly failed to control skyrocketing prices.
Non-moral traders, intermediaries and syndicates that run with government blessings are the main reason for price increases , “Alleged Borah.
