New Delhi: Congress, who tried to revive himself in Uttar Pradesh which was very important, would not enter the tie-up with other major political parties and contests of all 403 own state assembly seats, Priyanka Party leader Gandhi said on Sunday.
This marked the break from the Congress strategy compared to the 2017 State Polls when entering the tie with the Samajwadi Party in power and conducted a high-pitched ‘UP Keadke’ campaign.
However, BJP has swept the polls bagging more than 300 seats.

On Sunday, responding to the Ministry of Home Union Amit Shah Jibe against his party, Head of the Jamajwadi Party Akhilesh Yadav on Sunday attacking BJP which said it was an abbreviation of arrogance, lies and inflation.
Yadav’s response came a day after Shah’s speech in Azamgarh, where he called SP as an abbreviation of “Jinnah, Azam Khan and Mukhtar (Ansari)”, giving an acronym of ‘clock’.
“For BJP, ‘J’ is’ Jhooth ‘(lying),’ A ‘stands for’ ahisanaar (arrogance), and ‘m’ stands for ‘Mahangaiai’ (inflation),” he greeted a press conference at Kushinagar.
