New Delhi: Congress has decided to observe ‘Kisan Vijay Diawas’ on November 20 and will arrange demonstrations of victory throughout the country on behalf of farmers to mark the central announcement on Friday revoked three controversial agricultural laws.
Congress leaders will also visit families of 700 farmers who die during agitation and will regulate the wax and demonstration parade to pray so that the souls have died.
All India Congress Committee (AICC) Secretary General (Organization) K C Venugopal has requested all state units to regulate demonstrations and wax marches in the state, district and block on Saturday.
In a letter to the Head of the Party of State Unit, Venugopal said the revocation of the three agricultural laws “Draconian” was the victory of farmers and due to the protest of farmers, their sacrifices and uncompromising battles led by the Congress Party and Rahul Gandhi.
“This collective victory for humble crimes is dedicated to all of our countries,” he said.
He said the Congress would observe ‘Kisan Vijay Diawas’ on November 20 “in recognition of the battle of farmers who were consistent and vibrant to defective decisions from the Tyranian government, which led to the revocation of agricultural law”.
“Let’s continue to organize the program to join the country in observing this as a historic victory of farmers.
Mark the victory of the farmers by visiting the farmer’s family of Shaheed in our area,” he said.
