Mumbai: Chairman of the Minister of UDDHAV Thackeray can immediately overhaul his cabinet, especially the Congress ministers take part in the party’s request.
A Minister of Congress told TI on Tuesday that AICC had proposed a reshuffle of members of Cabinet Congress.
“It has been proposed to drop two cabinet members and induce two new ministers in their place,” he said.
The Minister of Congress said AICC recently took reviews of the performance of all members of the Congress Cabinet and felt it was time to bring down the minister who did not perform.
“It seems that some Congress cabinet members are not seen during a pandemic.
Congress has prepared a list of ministers to be dropped.
All will depend on the availability of cm and governor for that purpose,” Minister said.
Second, the minister said AICC was interested in the initial election for the speaker post previously held by Patole Nana Congress, who has been appointed as the President of the State Party.
Patole sharply that he was appointed in the country’s cabinet, said Minister said.
“Senior AICC leader Malikarjun Kharge and H K Patil, who are in Mumbai, discussed the political situation and the possibility of a small reshuffle,” he said.
The minister said it was proposed that instead of holding a secret voting for the selection of speakers, the election must be held by raising hands so there was no room for voting.
