New Delhi: With the Congress refused to respond to repeated offers of forging alliances with the Trinamool Congress (TMC) in Goa, the Mamata Banerjee party seemed to try hard to get it by placing the responsibility of the BJP in the state of the Congress leadership.
“Congress will be responsible if BJP won Goa,” said TMC Top Source on Wednesday, about the possibility of an alliance with the party.
With less than a month to go for Goa polls scheduled for February 14, TMC has stated the names of only 11 candidates so far, for the assembly of 40 members, leaving open land for allies to be accommodated.
TMC, which is his first attempt outside his home area in West Bengal, who is fighting for the election of the Goa assembly, navigating the Congress fortress in the state, inaugurating leaders from the party to build his footsteps in the state.
Naturally annoyed by losing its leaders to TMC, Congress has been cold so far because of the ajalanya for alliances in the state, along with NCP and Shiv Sena Sharad Pawar.
By placing the responsibility of defeating BJP in Goa in Congress, TMC has also tried to free itself from being accused of weakening the party and disbursing the war against BJP in power.
With a multi-required current contest in the state that has traditionally seen the Congress LED contest versus BJP, elections can make a broken mandate, with various players making their little profits.
The powerful BJP might face anti-breeders, but the cracked mandate can with its benefits in the poll situation.
On the other hand, profits for small parties such as NCP, Shiv Sena or TMC and allies such as MGP can accumulate with Congress after polls because they are part of the anti-BJP opposition camp.
Another new player in the state, the AAM AADMI Party (AAP), against Goa’s poll himself for declaring its main minister’s candidate on Wednesday, has added a twist.
So far, AAP has relied heavily on BJP in Turf his home in Delhi and has become part of the opposition camp in parliament.
