Jaipur: The powerful Congress won the Zila Pramukh match in Alwar and Dholpur, as a general election for Pramukh’s Pramukh Pramukh posts in the two districts concluded on Saturday.
The party also won 14 Pradhan posts from 22 followed by BJP opposition with 6 posts.
Independent won two Pradhan posts.
In Alwar, Balbeer Singh from Congress became Zila Pramukh beat BJP Ramveer with a 7 sound margin.
Of the 49 votes, Congress secured 28 votes and BJP (21).
In Dholpur, Congress’ Bhagwan Devi won Zila Pramukh’s position beat Pavanesh Sharma BJP with a 15 voice margin.
Of the 23 votes, the congress pocketed 19 votes and BJP (4).

Pancrayat polls are scheduled to be held in four more districts – Ganganagar, City, Baran and Karuli.
