New Delhi: Congress on Saturday released the first list of 86 candidates for the election of assembly February 14 in Punjab, Charanjit Singh Channi’s Charanjit Minister Chief from Chamkaur Sahib and PCC Head Navjot Singh Sidhu from Amritsar East.
The party has also banned the Deputy Minister of Punjab – Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa from Dera Baba Nanak and Om Prakash Soni from Amritsar Central, the chairs they have represented.
The controversial Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, who joined the Congress, which will compete from Sister Mansa and actor Sonu Sood Malvika Sood from Moga.
Party’s Rajya Sabha MP Pratap Singh Bajwa will sail from the Qadian assembly chair in Gurdaspur, represented by Brother Bajwa Fatehjang Singh Bajwa.
This list was released after the party center election committee chaired by party head Sonia Gandhi cleared the names of the meetings held on Thursday.
The first list has nine female candidates, represents around 10 percent so far.
The party has provided 40 percent of women to women in Uttar Pradesh, where he will conduct a poll with a focus on women’s empowerment.
The party has also adopted a formula ‘one family, one ticket while distributing party tickets.
Former PCC President and Head of the Sunil Jakhar campaign committee will not oppose the polls of the Assembly and his nephew Sandeep Jakhar will oppose the seat of the Ablohar Assembly instead.
Likewise, Minister of Punjab Brahm Mohindra will not contest and his son Mohit Mohindra will compete in his place from the rural assembly seat of Patiala.
All ministers sit other contests from their respective constituencies that they currently represent.
Minister of Finance Punjab Manpreet Singh Badal will contest from the Urban Bathinda, Minister of Pwd Vijay Minder Singla from Sangrur, Minister of Supply and Sanitation of the Sultana Raid from Malkotla Minister and the Minister of Industry Gurkirat Singh Kotli from Khanna.
Other ministers such as Rana Gurjit Singh will return from the constituency of the Council of Kapurthala, Tripe Bajinder from Fatehgarh Churian, Randeep Singh Nabha from Amloh, Amarinder Singh Raja fought from Gidderbaha and Pargate Singh from Jalandhar Cantt.
In addition, ministers such as very Singh Gilzian have been derived from his Urmar suits, Aruna Chaudhary from Dina Nanagar, Raj Kumar Verka from Amritsar West-SC, Sukhbinder Sarkaria from Rajasusi and Bharat Bhushan Ashu from Ludhiana West.

He was elected from Bathinda Rural in the last election on AAP tickets.
Former Head of the Punjab Youth Congress Amarpreet Singh Lally was given a party ticket from Garhshankar.
Singh Jagpal Abulkhurana has been derived from the Lambi Constitution which is currently represented by Parkash Singh Badal.
The party has not declared its candidates for the patience constituency of Patiala represented by former Minister of Amarinder Singh.
The party will also declare 31 seats left for 117 members of the members immediately.
The election of Punjab assembly is scheduled in one phase on February 14 and the results will come out on March 10.
