New Delhi: In a fairly direct reference to BRI China’s initiative, Foreign Minister S Jaishankar said on Friday that connectivity efforts must be based on economic feasibility and financial responsibility and must promote economic activity and not create debt burdens.
While the comments were seen as excavation at BRI China – with several Smart African and Asian countries from the negative side, Jaisankar also reminded Pakistan that connectivity could not be a one-way way.
