Kalyan: Constable Police Ravindra Sapkale (49) Posted at the Vithalwadi Police Station in Ulhasnagar has been ordered to demand a bribery Rs 2,000 to help complainants in a case related to the Mahar registered in his wife by his wife.
The Thane Anti-Corruption Bureau Team on Tuesday submitted FIR against Sapkale.
ACB has found that Sapkale to help complainants in a case related to dowry harassment by giving the word investigation officer in court supporting the complainant of Rs 2,000.
ACB officials said that Sapkale demanded Bribe in July this year and they after verifying claims of complainants on Tuesday submitting FIR.
