‘Constrained to Watch your Continuing Excitement’: Dhankhar into Mamata on post-poll violence

KOLKATA: West Bengal governor Jagdeep Dhankhar composed to main minister Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday, said that she’s been silent within post-poll violence from the country and hasn’t taken measures to rehabilitate and compensate for affected people.

Dhankhar, that has been at loggerheads with the Trinamool Congress administration on many problems since taking over in July 2019, also accused the authorities and government in the country of being undercover.
The government wrote that through his May 13-15 trip to Coochbehar, Nandigram and Ranpagli at Assam, he’d listened to heartrending stories of sufferings of individuals for voting according to their decision from the West Bengal assembly elections.
The Senate’s trip to such areas had contributed into a war of words between the chief minister together with Banerjee writing , claiming his excursion succeeds standards, although Dhankhar hit back stating he’s releasing responsibilities mandated by Constitution.
