Construction of the Noida Airport will begin soon

New Delhi: Yamuna International Airport Pvt Ltd (YAPL) has collected RS 3,725 Debt Crore from Bank State of India (SBI) to fund the upcoming Noida International Airport (NIA).
This financial closure, which will enable the commencement of construction work, is one of the largest financing at the Indian Greenfield airport.
This loan must be paid too much decades with a post-year moratorium on project completion.
The Noida Airport project is being funded at the debt equity ratio of 65:35.
Zurich Airport International AG (ZAIA), a company owned fully owned by Fluphafen Zurich AG, is the main shareholder of Yiap and inject Rs 2,005 Crore as equity into development.
Yiapl CEO Christoph Schnellmann said: “We are pleased to have signed a financing agreement with SBI and Nia Ltd (NIAL) to develop Noida International Airport.
This marks financial closure for the project, and we are now very looking forward to the airport development in close collaboration with our partners including nial and SBI.
“The CEO of Nial Arun VIR Singh describes the financial achievement close to important milestones.
“This will allow the team to focus on construction work for airport development.
We all vigorously waiting to build a leading airport of India which will boast quality, efficiency, technology, and sustainability.
We are very excited and ready to move forward with a vision to create flight infrastructure World class together.
“Nia said it planned to make air travel more affordable for airlines and passengers by building infrastructure on an ongoing and cost-effective use of renewable energy.
Noida is expected to become the airport of the first zero emission of India.
This will be a fully digital airport, allowing trips without contact.
