Consumer panel order airline Topay RS 85.50L for tickets canceled

Kanpur: State Consumers denied the negotiations commission, Lucknow on Thursday held Indigo Airlines to pay Rs 85.50 lakh as compensation and damage to Vinay Shankar Tiwari complainants for unfair trade deficiencies and practices.
Members of the Redressal Commission Rajendra Singh in the demands stated that Indigo flight operators had to pay Rs 35 Lakh as compensation, RS 50 Lakh for mental suffering and harassment and 50,000 Rs as a case cost as 10% interest every year.

After going through all the circumstances and evidence on the record, the State Commission reached the conclusion that there was a lack of service by Indigo Airlines and also carrying out unfair trade practices with the National Fame Contractor, who will attend urgent meetings in Delhi.
After that, the State Commission provides a total compensation of Rs 85.50,000 with interest of 10% per year.
