Jaipur: Consumers in the state will now be able to register their complaints with the Consumer Commission online through the e-filing portal.
Chairman of Rajasthan State Consumer denied the commission of the Justice Commission Banwari Lal Sharma inaugurated the e-filing portal on Friday.
Naveen Jain, Metrectary Food, Civil inventory and consumer affairs, said that many facilities are available on the e-filing portal.
“Facilities such as e-notifications, links to download case documents, VC links to hear through video conferencing, facilities to submit a written reply by the opposite parties and warnings on SMS and emails available on this platform,” he said.
‘Strict action against violators’: Jaipur Daran Vishal collector said that the action would be taken against anyone under Section 297 of the City Law, 2009, if they used a free ad site to post a birthday or congratulaity message.
