Contains Covid: Edu Institution Returns to Online Mode

The oldest college in the city also holds an online class and exam, as a precautionary measure.

P s Yadapadithaya, Deputy Chancellor, Mangalore University, said that currently only one university under the university was closed, because it reported more than five cases of Covid-19 among students.
The university will take part in the district government guidelines, where directed to close any educational institutions that reported five cases of Covid-19 or more.
He also added that colleges have been asked to do online classes during weekend hours.
“This is a good step that colleges shifted to online learning mode as a security measure.
