Bengaluru: The Association of the State of Karnataka State Primary School has demanded that the state government immediately reopen the school for classes on campus.
The association cited reports while the expert committee led by Dr.
Devi Shetty and asked the government to restart the midday eating scheme, and the Bhagya Ksheer initiative.
In a temporary report submitted to the government in June, the expert committee led by Dr.
Shetty recommends the reopening of the school gradually based on priority.
“Technology only helps only 30% attend classes,” the association said.
“It was not wrong that in the last 15 months, some students did not even realize government initiatives on TV, radio, online, and through whatsapp messages.
In addition, more than 25% of students suffer from lack of nutritious food, most students have been forced into workers Children, and some are also reported to be involved in anti-social activities.
“To avoid further impacts and bring more students into folds of education, schools must be opened for regular classes, the association said.
“In the primary class, the attention of students is transferred even during the physical class.
TV, radio, and online classes are not suitable for children like that.
Even training students in a higher class through the media have its disadvantages,” the association said.
Gradual expectations, associations have suggested schools be started gradually.
Classes can be spread over six days a week.
While one day each can be dedicated to class one to four, two days can be dedicated to fifth to eight.
In the state of the country, his strength is around 25 students with only four rooms, he said, adding that members of the school development and the monitoring committee (SDMC) and school authorities can discuss and start regular classes by complying with the Covid-19 protocol.
The association emphasizes that in recent months, government schools have reported an increase in the number of revenues, which have been made possible by the efforts of teachers and officials.
“The teacher helps increase awareness by distributing handbill and by traveling with a public address system that asks students to enroll in school.
Efforts and social responsibilities of parents and people who provide education must be helped by reopening the school,” he added.
