Kalyan: Three robbers attacked the contractual train staff with a knife on his face at Yard Kalyan’s premise in the Thane Maharashtra district on Friday.
With his intention to loot, the robbers held the victim and attacked him when he raised an alarm.
Following the incident, Kalyan GRP has arrested three of them are small children who have been sent home.
Those who were arrested had been identified as Roshan Sharma, 19, and Saddam Shaikh, 20.
Minor, aged 17 years, had been detained and sent to Bhiwandi’s house.
Kalyan GRP said the trio on Thursday late at night stopped Devidas Bhale, 21, who worked with a railroad center as a laborer based on a contract in the train yard and asked him to hand over cash.
When the victim denied having cash, the defendant began to examine his pocket.
When he raised the alarm, the defendant arrested him and stabbed Bhale on his face.
Valmik Shardul, Senior Police Inspector Kalyan GRP, said, “After the robbery when the defendant escaped, the cellphone was one of them fell there.
